I appreciate being invited to so many candidate forums around Howard County, because they give me the opportunity to hear about the issues that are important to various organizations and community members, and to share my vision and priorities for HCPSS. Here are some of the upcoming forums I’m looking forward to - I’d love to see you at one or more of them!

Please join us for the campaign’s first in-person fundraiser event! We’ll be at the West Pavilion at Blandair Regional Park. Stay for dinner! Bring the kids! — The pavilion is right next to the West Area playground. Accommodations will be available for those observing Ramadan.

Until the day (hopefully soon!) when Howard County’s Citizen’s Election Fund is expanded to include Board of Education races, it’s an unfortunate fact that running a county-wide campaign like this takes money—and a lot of it. In keeping with my commitment to run a people-powered campaign to represent all Howard County students, families, and educators, I have enacted a strict policy limiting from whom my campaign will accept contributions.
